Am I Really Ready for This?

I can not believe school has started AGAIN! Madison is now in 2nd grade and Porter in 1st! That means ALL DAY with Ry and Brayd only. Ry will go to school 2 days a week and will be gone for 3 hours come September. Then it will just be Brayd and I. I may have to have Aaron up my allowance because I'm going to have ALOT of spare time to kill, and for those of you that KNOW me, KNOW that I shop in my spare time.
The morning ran rather smoothly. We even had time for some first day of school pictures. I let them choose out their outfits last night and this is what they chose.....

Of course they wanted Ossy in their picture

My Big 1st Grader!

My Big 2nd Grader.

The kids needed to fill up their water bottles at the drinking fountain at school. I can't believe how hot it is still.....They for sure need their water!

We dropped Porter off at his class. His teacher is Mrs. Decker and I think he will do just great. I gave him lots of "talking to's" about being a "good boy" today. I'm sure he did just excellent:)

Madison is in Mrs. Hamilton's class and as soon as we walked in she said, "Hi Madison, I've heard alot of good things about you from Ms. Dutson." Not surprising but always nice to hear.

After we dropped Madison off we realized we had forgotten to tell Porter where to meet me after school to pick him up, so we found him out on the playground hanging upside down. Not surprising either.

While we were out there Ry had to go down the "BIG" slide.

Of course Brayd had to follow!

It sure is a good thing I still have my 3 baby boys at home to keep me company. The only problem is, that didn't really solve my problem. As soon as Aaron and I dropped the kids off to school Aaron left me to go to work. So.....I went shopping! Then I went out to Aaron's work. MADE him and Russ lunch, then hung out for 2 in a half hours.
Wow, this day is pretty much dragging!
I'm thinking there is going to be MAJOR trouble when Brayd goes to school!)

MONKEYS

Porter's came home from a friends house and told me that he learned this from CARTER! Really Carter? I thought he was the calm one. However, it does make me feel better that my child is not the only rambuctious boy around.

He made it all the way to the top!

Madison was able to get up a little also.
Poor girl, I think her days of ALWAYS doing better than Porter are over.
I love that they all are talented in different ways.

Aaron couldn't let his baby boys feel bad so he helped Ry...

And Brayd!

Aaron did make it very clear that this was the last time we climb the walls in the house.
We'll see if they listened:)

Silly Porter

At about 4 o'clock in the morning Madison came down to my room and said she couldn't find Porter. She told me she had looked on the side of his bed already. So, I got out of bed and headed up the stairs to check it out. I looked under his bed and around upstairs, but Porter was nowhere to be found. I noticed his blanket was missing and came downstairs to the family room.
I found Porter Man, but I don't think he was very comfortable......

Do You?

Cat or Dog?

Ossy has found his spot in our house.
He took a couple of weeks to check everything out, but by now I think he has realized that....
1. Aaron and Madison are the ONLY ones that don't make Ossy squeal.
-Sometimes when I am trying to get him out from under the couch I pull him by his hairs-
2. Aaron spends ALOT of his time on this couch in front of the computer.
3. Aaron and Madison will protect Ossy from the rest of us.
So, with these three things that Ossy has learned he has figured out that right behind Aaron is where he is the safest!

I still wonder though....Did we get a Cat or a Dog?

My Baby Growed Up!

I was giving Brayd a bath the other day and he had already had a shower the night before so I wasn't planning on washing his hair. Well, he had a different plan. I walked out of bathroom for a minute, and when I came back in the bathroom I could smell the shampoo. I looked in the bath and saw this....

Brayd took it upon himself to wash his hair. Can you see the bubbles?
When did he grow up?

That same day I was blog stalking and heard him yelling to me from the kitchen. I looked over and couldn't see him. This is why...

What a monkey! He found some chocolate chips that he wanted in the freezer. That is what he is pointing to.
I love this Boy!

Introducing..........Oscar

We are just loving our little puppy Oscar. Yes, we decided to name him Oscar because he looks like Oscar the Grouch. I agreed to the name and said I was going to call him Ossy.
Some of his favorite things are the binki and a little motorcycle that makes noises. He is very good at going potty outside every time we take him outside he goes potty but occasionally has an "accident" in our house. He is such a lovable puppy and we love him VERY much!

Oscar with his Bink.

Oscar is a Smith Boy, so of course he loves motorcycles.

Madison had Cameron and Morgan over to play and they just wanted to put a bow in Oscar's hair. The funny thing is Shih Tzu are so pretty that the professionals put bows in the boys hair too.

Morgan looks like such a model here with Oscar!

We just can't get enough of this cute little boy and we are SO happy he joined our family!
WE LOVE YOU OSSY!

Our 4th BOY!

We have been looking around for a puppy for quite awhile now. Well, yesterday I called Aaron and he said he had just left Wal-Mart and saw the cutest Shih Tzu puppies. I told him I wanted one. He said he had the number of the guy and if I was serious he would call them and we could go pick it up. I did hesitate a bit though. For those of you that know us, KNOW that our history with dogs isn't that great. We've tried chocolate, yellow and black labs, all of which have either ran away, got hit by a car or just randomly disappeared. Then we tried a beagle....let's just say my parents own him now. So this time we thought we would try out a little dog and see how this one turns out. If we have a hard time with him we'll just take him to my moms:).
We haven't thought up a name yet, so I just refer to him as "puppy".

Right after we got puppy we went to pick out the essentials for owning a puppy. He lives in his crate in our house. If you look close enough you can see him in the basket.

Brayd loves his new little puppy! That is one thing I like about little dogs, you'll always be able to carry them around.

We had a lot of fun with our little guy last night. The kids loved on him and he didn't whine at all. Then it was time to go to bed so Aaron put him in his crate. That didn't last long...as soon as I went to the kitchen where his crate was he started wagging his tail and just looking at me. So, I brought him in to lay by us. It reminded my so much of Tag-a-long, she was the dog we had while I was growing up. When Aaron was ready to go to sleep he took puppy back to his crate and everything was good......Until about 5:30 this morning. I heard him whining so I went to check on him and he had made a mess of his crate. I totally felt like a new mom again. I cleaned him all up and gave him a bath.

He didn't love it, but afterwards I laid him on my lap in this towel and he sat for about 20 minutes.
I know having a puppy isn't the easiest thing but he's so cute and the kids just love, love, love him! So do Aaron and I.
Welcome to our family "PUPPY".
