Swimming, the Beach and a Movie!!!

After going to Universal Studios we decided we needed a break for a day. We hung out at the Worldmark pool then walked down to the beach.
Swimming with dad NEVER gets old!! I'm so glad Aaron is a good sport and jumps in the water with the kids. I DON'T!!
Aaron warmed up in the hot tub for a bit then came over to brave the pool.
They all just swarm around Aaron as soon as he gets in.
Some even jump on top of him:)
Aaron teaching Ry and Brayd acrobatics!
Getting so good at it. I love how Madi and Porter are watching.
After looking at the picture Aaron told them they did a good job.
Next time they just needed to put their arms out.
So they did:)
Madi decided to do it with Ry because Madi was blaming Porter and Ry was blaming Brayd that they couldn't get it just right.
Not bad....
Right after this picture Aaron threw Porter in the water.
Apparently Porter was digging his toenails into Aaron's shoulder.
So Funny!!!
When the pool got boring we headed down to the beach.
I was paranoid but quickly got over it and let them have some fun.
All 4 of my babies!
Love this picture.
Running from the waves.
I don't think Brayd will be caught.
They were in pairs jumping different waves.
This is what Aaron did.
I think the kids wore them out at the pool!
Brayd decided to dig a hole and let the water fill it up.
This is what I did:)
Surprised?
Madi and Porter STILL jumping waves and getting so brave to get in deeper.
Ry decided to join Brayd to dig a bigger hole.
The seagulls came to visit us too.
Madison, Porter and Ry got cold so they jumped in some warm sand.
Then rolled in it!
I think Brayd may have got my liking for the water.
The funny thing about this picture is I know Brayden wasn't cold but he is such an old man like his Uncle Russ. They just always look cold!
We had lots of fun at the beach and were now ready to go get some lunch!!
It wouldn't be a vacation in the Smith Family if we didn't go to a movie!!
So, after lunch and a visit to the grocery store we went to the movie "Pirates"
The kids quite enjoyed it and I think Aaron did too.
I was texting the whole movie.
Another Fun day in Southern California with my babies!!!

Universal Studios.....

Monday morning we got up and headed out to Universal Studios! We realized on Sunday night that we were an hour in a half away! Whoops, we didn't plan that very well. But, that is o.k. the kids are old enough to travel well. We just put in Punky Brewster and drove.....
By the time we got there our breakfast had worn off and we were hungry again. First we got some Cinnabon. Then some pizza. Not really sure what Brayd is doing......
We then headed to the lower lot for the kids to ride some rides.
I tried to teach the kids to stand single file in case anyone wanted to pass us.
I guess Aaron thought it was cute because he wanted to take a picture.
Brayd couldn't go on "The Mummy" so we found Scooby Doo.
Brayd and his van.
 Scooby Doo himself!
 Brayd and Porter's favorite ride.
 Madi and Ry's favorite ride.
We then headed up to the Upper Lot and found lots of characters.
The Lorax-Ossie:)
 Sponge Bob.
 And cute Curious George.
Madi thinks he's so cute!
Frankenstein came up and grabbed Madi and started dancing with her.
 Brayd and Diego:)
Brayd was excited about this.
Ry was too embarrassed:( He's getting too big!
Madi still dancing!!
We then headed over to the Curious George playground.
It's amazing how we all wanted to put balls in different places.
Brayd just kept putting balls in this gun and all they would do is drop out, not even shoot.
He didn't care though, it was so funny!!
 Going for another ball!
Aaron, Porter and Madi trying to get a basket full.
So cute!
Ry was so good at continuing to fill the buckets.
Such a hard-worker!
Brayd and I got a Churro while the older kids got to go on another ride.
He was sad he couldn't go.
Then they wanted to go AGAIN!!! So, we got him his own sucker.
He was happy about this!
 On our way out!!
Aaron bought me these extra long Twizzlers!!
So yummy:)
The kids all have money to spend each day. They used some of their money to buy treats from this store.  We had a good time at Universal Studios. They all just wished there were more rides so we will find more at another amusement park this week!
At one point in the day Madi said, "Mom, I feel so bad for you that you can't ride the rides."
I told her that I really didn't like them anyway and preferred to watch people. She was happy about that.
She is such a sweet girl!
An excellent day with excellent company!!

L.A. Temple and Oceanside California

Because we weren't going to make it to church on Sunday, we thought we would go to the L.A. temple, where my parents were married, and visit the Visitors Center. It was a very nice day and we were excited to walk around. Aaron always needs to make things fun, interesting, or competitive-whatever you want to call it:) So, he told the kids to see who could walk all the cement on the temple grounds......
 Our 4 kids- for now.
 Aaron and I-thanks Ry!
 My Madi and the flowers.
 My cute Brayd!
Aaron loved this rose tree. He wants one so he wanted a picture of it.
I jumped in the picture.
Me at 35 weeks!
More of the rose trees and the temple.
Porter was a good poser smelling the roses:)
 Ry by the fountain.
 A little closer.
Aaron, Madi, Porter and Ry were taking a rest.
Brayd was walking the path and all worn out.
He won:)
Pointing to which palm tree was the tallest.
 What do you think?
We then went into the Visitor's Center and took a tour. We were in there for over an hour. We watched a good movie on Families Are Forever, saw and listened to the statue of Christ, listened to helping movies and listened to the Sister Missionaries. It was a very good way to spend time on Sunday.
We then hit the road to head down to Oceanside where we would be staying at the Worldmark for the next 5 nights!
When we got settled in our room we needed to get out so we walked down to the beach. The kids were so confused why other people could be swimming on  Sunday and they couldn't.
We explained.
I love my boys!!
And my beautiful Madi.
She's getting so big!
Our Vacation is about to begin!!!

Heading to California!!

Aaron and I decided that because this little lady of ours will be debuting into our family in the near future, we should have a little getaway. We wanted to take the kids somewhere fun!! So, we decided to head to So. Cali and have a good time. We picked Aaron up from Vegas on Saturday morning and headed down to Ontario. Our plan is to hit up the L.A. Temple, some amusement parks, the beach and Universal Studios. We'll see what ends up happening.
Can you tell the kids are so so excited??
 Yes they are!!
Aaron is very excited also, he just doesn't want to show it:)
I won't be able to go on many rides, but I am totally o.k. with that. I love to watch people and eat all the yummy food! Good thing I don't have a Dr. Appointment where I will be weighed for a week after I get back. I will then have time to get off all the LBS:)

Madi's Class Program

This year Madi's class had a Poetry Cafe'. All the kids did poems and needed to have props. They could either make up the poem, or just recite one from an author. Madi and her friend Katrina decided to write their own. It went like this......
Silly silly me, how silly could I be?
Silly silly me, I'm as silly as can be.
Silly silly kitten she is smitten with a mitten.
Silly silly kitten, she always gets bitten.
Silly silly dog, she looks like a frog.
Silly silly dog, she sits there like a log.
Silly silly me, how silly could I be?
Silly silly me, I'm as silly as could be!
Cute girls with their props. Including Ossie Baby.....
They did an awesome job, Cute girls!!
Ossie Baby was such a good little boy too. He just sat there.
Good Job Madi and Katrina!!
You did awesome!

Addilyn Jo Williams

So, I broke my camera AGAIN!!! I think I go through about 2 cameras a year, but it is all worth it with all the pictures I take.....Well, I finally got another one just in time for little Addilyn Jo Williams to join the family. My sister, Joanna got induced at about 12:20 on Tuesday May 1, 2012 and had her at about 7:00 that night everything went very smoothly and she's home and as happy as can be.
Madi anxiously awaiting her new little cousin. Just wishing it was her little sister on her way....
Eating her big 'ol potato logs she got for dinner.
Little Addi made it here and Madi was so happy!
The proud parents ordering up some much deserved dinner.
Joanna was needing some food, especially after Jason teased her with chicken just an hour or so earlier.
Welcome to this crazy world Addilyn Jo.
It's definitely going to be an interesting one!!
