The Best Night Ever!!

Let's be honest....Aaron milks it BAD when he is sick!! On Friday night he was feeling a little yucky, then on Saturday early morning like in the 4 o'clock a.m. hour I was up making him hot chocolate and toast. When he woke up at noon he decided he didn't need to go to the insta care but still laid in bed all day. By 9:00 p.m. he needed pizza.
We had it delivered and ate pizza at 9:30 p.m. on our bed. Not a normal thing for this home, but SO fun!
The kids then went out to their "beds" even Ossie Baby slept in his designated spot.
When all the fun was over the kids even rearranged our furniture-doctor's office style:)

Family Night At Samurai

My boys needed haircuts, kids eat for free at Samurai on Monday nights, we needed to eat and it was Family Night. These were 3 perfectly legit reasons to go out to dinner tonight. The kids got these cute hats so I had to take a picture, or TEN!!
Brayd was sitting next to me so I got his picture....
Madi and Porter were sitting next to each other so I got their picture.....
Then there was Ry and I decided to get his picture with Brayd....
Take ONE....
Take TWO....
Take THREE....
Take FOUR....

Take FIVE....

Take SIX....
Yes, it really took 6 shots to get these silly monkeys looking at me!
The rest of the meal was fantastic! The kids were great. I even said to Aaron, can you believe that we just sat through and hour dinner and we didn't have ONE problem-besides the picture taking:) My babies are getting SO big. I don't think I like it:(

My Brayd....

My little boys and I brought Aaron some Domino's Pizza for lunch. The boys eat a piece then walk away, so I eat it. Then they come back for more....Well, this day Brayd and Ry had just walked up the stairs both with a half-eaten piece of pizza that they were done with. So, they handed it me. The conversation went like this....
Me...You guys are going to make me fat!
Brayd...How come?
Me...Because you keep giving me your pizza and I eat it.
Brayd...Throw it in the garbage, mom.
Me...No, I'll just eat it.
Brayd...No, Mom, throw it in the garbage!
Me...How come?
Brayd...Because I don't want you to get fat.
The last sentence was spoken with such sincerity and worry.
I love my baby Brayd.
Just stay little Brayd, it will be so simple....

Girls Night Out....With Dad!

I'm not one for girls nights out. I usually don't go when invited and I RARELY ever plan one. However, when my big sister is having a baby and she has invited ALL her sisters and moms to be in the room, then I believe that calls for a little celebrating!!!
We started the night off with a little Samurai. Jo couldn't join that part because she is a responsible mom and puts her kids to bed:) But, Bud, Nicole, Mom, Dad and I sure did enjoy some yummy grub!
Nicole sent this picture to Russ....
he wrote back....STOP EATING!!
No, she didn't really eat all that food!
After our tummy's were full we headed to Target, where Jo met up with us. We did some good shopping for Heather. I justified getting myself a Dr. Pepper, hoping the caffeine would keep me awake until this little babe that was the cause for this party was born....
My mom just shook her head while I bought it-she taught us NOT to drink caffeine-Hey, I gotta live up to my name as the rebel in the family. Right? If that is the naughtiest thing that I do then my momma should count her blessings:). Yes, Jo enjoyed it with me. Bud smelled it.
Here is the beautiful momma herself, in all her glory. Oh, and my dad telling her just how hard her contractions are. She doesn't get an epidural, but my dad is still confused why she doesn't scream. I guess she is just the tough one!
Here is the party! Trini was in Costa Rica-poor Trini, we all just felt so bad for her! We did buy this little bear to represent her. Her name is Trini.
Just after this picture was taken Heather got her Nubain and went into her oblivious world. Carter Ray McInnes entered this world a healthy little guy at 12:35 Sunday morning. Welcome to the world Carter!!

A Swan In Our Backyard?

As I was talking on the phone, I saw in my mirror, out my back door this.......
Yes, we had a swan in our backyard. I couldn't believe it! To tell you the truth I didn't think they flew so I was a little confused. My mom did let me know that it probably flew back there because that is what these birds do. Madi thought we should turn on the sprinklers so the bird wouldn't be so hot. After all, they do live in ponds:)
This fella was enjoying a nice summer day....
Until Ossie Baby scared it away. It was running so so fast and finally got up enough speed to just fly.
Farewell our friend.....

Oh My Porter!

No pictures to go along with this post, but I had to document....
I am sitting here reading gmail, facebook and blog-stalking-yes, all 3 things-when Porter comes in to get in the bath...While getting in the bath he begins to tell me a joke....for TEN minutes. I am NOT exaggerating. He tells me this joke all while in his bathtub suit-completely naked! I couldn't believe he could remember the joke and that he had the patience to tell it back!
I love my Porter Man!
p.s. now do you see why I could be looking at so many different things all while hearing ONE joke!

Snowy St. George

In my kids eyes, the perfect way to end their Winter Break was with a little snow! This may be the first time my kids were actually thankful that we lived in Idaho-for this reason they had snow clothes. With a little convincing I climbed up in the attic to find their clothes so they could enjoy the snow.
Porter was at his friends when the kids headed out-he late came home but I didn't get a picture of just him.
Madi all ready and couldn't be happier. At this point I think she was still in shock that I was really going to let her go out in the snow to get all wet and cold!
My poor Ry doesn't have a heavy coat, or snow pants. I'm not sure what happened to them. That didn't stop him from going out and having some fun.
Oh my Brayd! He was all ready for some fun!
Porter made his way back with Carter and Parker, and that is when the fun began! They spent hours rolling up big 'ol snowballs. I guess it was worth the 5 minutes of getting the clothes down for them.
A little snow is fun-if anything it puts a smile on my face to watch my babies!
I'm now happy it's pretty much melted:)
