Awwww.....

For Spring Break I asked Aaron if he would rather go on a vacation or heat the pool? Because we were gone so much in February he decided he needed to stay and work so we would heat the pool. We laid by the pool on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Aaron took the day off so he was able to enjoy the excitement of the pool for the first time this year. As sad as it is the kids know not to even ask me to get in because they have gotten rejected so many times. However, Aaron usually gets in and plays. This time was no exception......
He entered by jumping on the skim board to see how far he could go.
Cute picture of my cute family.
Pushing Brayd on the knee board.
He stayed on really well.
Porter hurrying to put down the jet ski just in case he needs to rescue Brayden.
Such a good big brother!!
Madi and her side-kick. At this point they had been in the sun enough.
Ryan trying out the knee-board.
And coming back!
Porter once again running to make sure he didn't need to rescue anyone.
Madi's turn.
Playing a new game with Brayd.
Madi and her trick!
At this point Aaron was getting cold so he needed to warm up and thought the kids should do it with him so they all got out and did jumping jacks. It was quite comical.....
So cute, Aaron taught Brayd how to do them.
Playing the so fun game where the kids could only hold on to one of Aaron's fingers with one of their hands. So Cute!!
With all that swimming we were ready for some pizza so we had it delivered and had a little picnic.
Good Times!!
Super Fun Day!!!
Sorry, no pictures of this beached whale:)

11th Anniversary!

My baby and I have made it 11 years and we still love each other enough to have another baby!!!
Which by the way we are getting so so excited about!!
Because we got home from Yellowstone the day before our Anniversary we decided to do something fun WITH the kids. After all, it is the day we started our eternal family. Aaron needed to work because we were gone for the days before that which I was OK with:( We did take him lunch from Taco Time!
That night when Aaron got off we took the kids to Iggy's. They had never been there and Madi said, " Mom, I just don't like white trash place". Who is raising this girl?? I told her it wasn't white trash and she would love the bread. She did end up really enjoying her meal. She got some delicious Potato Soup also.
I tried to get a picture of all the kids except for Ry cuddled up to Aaron.
I missed it and just got this one of Ry after he can't stand it anymore.
Then they all posed for a cute picture.
I love my family.
After dinner we went miniature golfing. I only lost to Aaron by 2 points!! I may be getting competitive in my old age.
I am so happy that Aaron married me in the temple and is willing to put up with me FOREVER!!
Life just keeps getting better all the time!
I love you baby!! Don't ever leave me!

Young Women's Activity

I volunteered Aaron to teach the girl's in my Laurel class how to change a tire and he most definitely agreed!!
He is such a good husband.....
We told the kids they needed to stay in the house while Aaron was giving the demonstration but of course they wanted to be in on all the action. When Sister Bangerter made the comment that she missed those days when her 6 boys would gather around her husband and watch him, I knew I couldn't send them back in the house. These are the perfect teaching moments......
I can't explain how proud of a mom I am when my 3 boys sit and so intently watch what their dad is doing. I love that they love him and respect him enough to know and want to be just like him! Madi stood by me the whole time of course. I love my family and I am so excited to add another one to this pack!

Vegas Day 2

On Saturday morning we woke up and got ready to go down to the breakfast buffet they had at the hotel we were staying at. The kids love buffets! I don't, I just always feel like I eat WAY too much when I go to them. The problem is, Aaron always seems to need to take a bath when everyone is waiting on him......
Like Father...
Like Son...
No, I did not have them pose for these pictures.
Porter loves to be lazy in the bath just like his dad!
When bath time was over we headed to breakfast.
My babies enjoy eating.
Not really sure where they got that from:)
We were then off to do a little shopping.
We had a good time and enjoyed some Famous Dave's while down there.
I love that we can "get away" and take the kids without it being too stressful.
They can even carry their own blankets and coats!
I love my family!!

Vegas With My Babies!

The family and I were in need of a little quick trip to Vegas. My birthday is on Monday so we had to make a weekend out of it right? We headed down on Friday about 5 O'clock. We told the kids that morning we might go so when we told them it was going to happen they couldn't believe it, they kept saying, "we never do stuff like this". It's true, I'm not as spontaneous as I used to be.
So, we jumped in the car and headed out. When we arrived to the hotel the kids made up their beds and put their clothes away in the drawers. Silly kids.
We then went to get some dinner. We ended up at T.G.I.F. We had a little bit of a wait so of the course the kids fought to sit on Aaron's lap.
Madi and Ry won.
Brayd was o.k. as long as he got to play on Aaron's phone.
Porter hung with me.
Just Beautiful!
Let's try this again.
Nice!!
Now Brayd is mad because he has to get a picture and can't play anymore.
Oh this kid....
We then ate some delicious dinner and went back to sleep!

Good Times!

This night was a lazy Saturday night. Aaron brought us home some KFC and we stayed in. Until dinner was over and Aaron needed to "check" the pool. Next thing I know the kids are all in asking to roast marshmallows and get in the hot tub. I try not to be an awful mother at this point so I let Aaron do his thing. The camera came back with these pictures in it:)
Keeping warm while having some s'mores.
ADORABLE!!
I love how my Madi is putting her arm around Brayd.
Oh, Os Man is there too!
The backside too!
At this point Madi came in the house and introduced me to the T.V. show 'Good Luck Charlie'. It's a cute show and we watched a couple episodes.
All while the boys were getting sick in the hot tub!
Aaron is such a good dad and husband. At this point, I couldn't ask for anyone better to take care of me and our babies!

Fiesta Familly Fun Center....

I know, a little/lot white trash, but the kids were so excited to go play.
When we got it we were trying to decide what to do. The kids decided to just play in the arcade-nice!
The second game Madi played she hit the jackpot and tickets just kept coming.....
and coming!
The kids were amazed.
She got 740 tickets on this one game.
Brayd was super happy on this little ride.
Ry loved this awesome game. I don't even know what it was.
He earned a good amount of tickets. Like 15:)
Picking out the fun surprises.
Brayd got some awesome teeth!
Madi got a super softy gorilla with a ball and shared her tickets with the boys.
Porter got a ball, whoppie cushion, some glasses and some teeth. He just did his own thing and met up with us in the end. I'm not really sure which games he played.
Ry got some awesome glasses, some kind of game and teeth also.
We all had a good time and Aaron was so kind to take us there. I think he secretly really likes arcades!

A Little Adventure....

So, we were watching General Conference and the day was great! In between sessions we decided to go on a Rhino ride. Everything was great and we had crossed the river once when Aaron decided he wanted to cross it back in a different spot. The kids kinda freaked out and said they wanted to get out and let Aaron do it by himself to make sure it wasn't too deep. Well.......
Apparently it was too deep. Brent West had to come pull us out with his jeep. It was quite the experience but I was glad I was on the shore with my babies safe and sound:)
The kids love talking about this!!

Swimming With The Smith Family

This year for Labor Day some of the Smith Family came down to hang out. We had to do some swimming and watch Porter do flips in the pool! It was good times and the best part is that the kids sleep GOOD!!
My little swimmer Brayd!
Hanging in the hot tub.
Baby Jayci's first float in the pool with her Dad and Mom.
We do love our pool!

Oh Os Man!

We have had lots and lots of fun in this pool of ours! All love it except for one member of this family. It's Os Man. He is not a fan of the water at all. However, we try to make him like it by putting him in and having him swim. It is just the cutest thing. Madi doesn't like it much though, because she loves her puppy and knows he doesn't like it.
Aaron got this boat for father's day 3 years ago!! It has been in the top of our closet waiting for a special time to go on the water. Porter got a Yamaha watercraft for Easter this last year and has been waiting for the pool to be done to test it out.
Well, it was time to test them out....
Madi driving the watercraft.
Ossie is so mad at the boat.
He's about to pounce.
He's too scared to get in though.
Aaron has a lot of fun with this.
Porter is being a good boy to share.
I love my family and the Pool!
Good Times!

A Long-Time Coming!

This pool has been a long time coming and we are SO excited to have it done! It was supposed to be done in July but it was definitely worth the wait. At least we got to enjoy it for a full week before school started-while Aaron was at Lake Powell!
The kids invited some friends over, as did I, and they jumped in for the first time in groups.....
Madi, Natalie and Brayden were the first ones in!
With Ry not far behind.
Porter was the first off the jump rock.
Brayd loves to just float!
Then he got brave to jump off the jump rock.
So much fun!
This is what summer is all about!
I love the pool and I love chillin' with family and friends!
This is the life!!
Thanks to my baby for working so hard for me and the people I love mostest!
