Easter!!

Easter was good this year!! Leading up to Easter we got to spend lots of time with family. Brianne Smith came back to St. George with me and we spent the week laying in the sun, sewing, baking and shopping!! Brianne made me THE cutest hospital gown to wear after I have my baby. She mad herself one too of course and we should have taken a picture in them but I didn't even think about it. I will take a picture of me in all my glory when the baby comes of course!
When Easter day came we were ready for some good family fun.....
Just before we let the kids start looking for their goods. We have 9 o'clock church so the Easter Bunny came during church:)
All ready to head out back where all the "stuff" was.
The crazy bunny put eggs in the POOL!!
So dad had to go fishing!
Still fishing crazy Easter Bunny.
Chase and Brianne saw that crazy bunny so they let us know where to look:)
Brayd found his basket in the pool toy container.
Brayd helped Ry find his in the umbrella.
Ry was so so happy!
Porter's basket was in with the irrigation water valve.
Perfect for him.
Sneaky bunny hid Aaron's in the ceiling.
Madi's was half way down the slide.
And this is my gut at 7 months pregnant. My basket was just sitting there:)
The Easter Bunny just set it out. He must have come back when I wasn't looking.
We had a good Easter! It was so fun to watch the kids hunt for their baskets and MONEY eggs! We even colored eggs. Which I didn't get a picture of, just video.
Happy Easter!!

Christmas Day 2011

After our relaxing night the kids still slept in until 8 o'clock. My kids love their sleep like their daddy. By the time we got out and we were ready the kids were MORE than ready to get this show on the road.
Aaron took a cute picture.
This tradition came from Aaron's family.
Gotta get a picture of all the sleepy faces before opening presents.
Each of the kids loved what Santa brought them.
Madi was so excited for her American Doll.
Porter loved his scooter.
Ry was very surprised with his go-kart.
Brayd was thrilled with is bike.
All the kids helping Ossie open his present.
We try to do Christmas in a very organized manner. Where one kid opens a present at a time and they all take turns. This makes Christmas last ALOT longer and they all get to see what each other got. My favorite part about the whole day was when the kids all got their scriptures. The boys got a hard cover of the triple combination and Madi got the good, full set. They were so excited that they stopped to give Aaron and I hugs right in the middle of opening presents.
I love my babies!!
The End Results....
Madi's-and Ossie's-good stuff!
Porter's surprises!
Ry's presents!
Brayd's Toys!
I didn't get a picture of Aaron or I with our "stuff"
This is what I got though.....
Yes, I am going to see Peter Cetera in Sacramento!! Call me a grandma, but I love his music. I could, and do, listen to him All. Day. Long:)
Aaron is SOOOO CUTE!!! I just love the little paper he made up for me.
Aaron got some outfits, books, playing cards that have a picture of him skiing at Lake Powell-my favorite gift to him-and some other odds and ends. His big present was I took the infiniti in to get the front screen to work while we are driving. Whether it is the Navigation working or being able to watch movies. I don't really know how safe that is:) Especially for Aaron. I just hope we don't die. We were all happy with our Christmas Day!
When presents were open, we went up to my parents church for the hour that it was. It was a good meeting and good to remember Christ during all the hustle and bustle.
Madi got this big 'ol reeces bar that she just loved! This was 1/2 of it:)
I know, incredibly healthy!
When church was over we headed to my mom's for some Christmas there. I didn't take very many pictures, but I did take a few....

Brayd, Cam and Brenden in their super hero outfits my mom made them.
They all got 2 of them.
And Makayla!
Porter got this Hexbug.
I didn't get pictures of Madi with her American Doll outfit, or Ry with his Hexbug stuff.
My parents gave us a photo/memory book that they are going to keep putting together and some gift cards.
We gave them a t.v. and a ladder.
I think they were happy!
Christmas was low-key and EXCELLENT!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas Eve 2011

This year for Christmas Eve Aaron and I decided to stay home and start our own little traditions. Holidays get so hectic and my mom's house is just that. So, we had a little fondue, read a little paper that our Bishop put together of the different versions of the Christmas Story, watched a movie the kids got, and opened Christmas jammies.
Enjoying our deliciousness!!
Aaron enjoyed it too.
I'm thinking Porter enjoyed the chocolate a little too much!
Not really sure who took this picture, but my Brayd is a cute little man!
Adorable Bum's.
The boys.
And the girls.
Hopefully 3 of us:)
I definitely don't regret staying home. It was awesome to spend time with just us.
I think there is enough of us to have a good time!
Santa was on his way!!

Decorating of the Tree

This year Aaron claimed he was way too busy to do anything when it came to the decorating of the house or tree. So, Christie and I decorated all by our big selves. With the help of.....
Bentley...
Brayd....
Porter.....
And my Madi....
I don't know how, but my poor Ry didn't get a picture of him hanging up his ornament.
Sorry Baby!!!

Playing in the Snow and Bryce Canyon!

After spending Thanksgiving day inside we were ready to get out and get some fresh air. We started out by playing in the snow on the mountain that was by the cabin we stayed at.
In the beginning the kids would ride down the hill on the sled then walk it back up.
They were excited when Aaron came with the Rhino to pull them back up the hill.
Brayd loved to run up and down the hill. He was too scared to go on the sled.
Porter goes too fast.
This is me:)
My BEAUTIFUL Madi!
Here they come. Run so fast Brayd!
The kids loved to ride in the Rhino also.
Brayd trying to run so so fast!
Aaron taking the little ones for a ride.
Porter Madi and Ryan Going down the hill so so fast!
Porter was always in the back to be the brakes.
Check out how far they would go!
Aaron haulin' the kids back up the hill.
Cam gave rides on the little 4-wheeler.
Porter, Ry and Madi.
Nothing makes me happier than to see my kids having fun together!
Oh my Brayd!
How cozy are they!
And not yelling at each other.
Madi and Josh.
We had lots of fun hanging out in the snow.
We then were off to do some hiking.
We do not hike. Neither Aaron nor I love to hike. However, we had a good time and it was good to get our kids out and experience this kind of stuff:)
It was a little chilly before the hike, but we were ready!
First we had to take a family picture to prove that we really went to Bryce Canyon.
And we we're out......
The kids had a great time going down. Not hard at all. All fun!
Just a hikin' along.
See how much farther ahead the kids were.
They loved it.
Stop for a picture...
Or two...
My Madi.
Everyone with the beautiful view!
Brayd liked this rock.
So did Ry!
The kids wanted me to take a picture of this cool tree coming out of the ground.
Then Porter wanted a picture of himself.
And another...
and another!
This is a giant's toilet.
Kids think of the funniest things.
Oh, one more picture of Porter:)
Madi took about 10 pictures of this bird.
I kept 1!
Brayd needed a little help with this here walking stick.
This was definitely a hike!! They kids were pooped and so were the adults.
It was fun though and a memory we won't soon forget.
Thanks for the awesome weekend Cam and Cindy, it was great!!
