Porter's #8 Birthday!

I ordered one of Porter's presents at the last minute so it arrived at about noon on his birthday. We usually open presents first thing in the morning. But, because of this small dilemma, he needed to wait until after school.
He did get a grapefruit with cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
Everyone enjoying their breakfast.
My kids are all getting too old too fast:(
He then got to open his shirt.
Then his pants.
Gotta have a birthday outfit!
And some donuts.
The rest waited until after school.
As soon as he got home from school everything was set up and ready to open!
He was so excited and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for Aaron to get home.
He got some Hawaiin Punch.
Dips and Cocoa Krispy bars.
Cakesters and Vanilla Wafers.
Now for the fun stuff!
Two floatation devices that have squirt guns on them.
You can tell his smile is now genuine.
I may regret giving this....
Some Rollerblades.
Porter has been practicing on mine for about a year now.
He is super good at them.
This kid has no fear, which is kinda scary, but fun at the same time!
So excited for the BIG present-the one we waited for..
This thing is a Big Wheel for Big Kids.
Porter LOVES this present too.
Aaron put it together right away and the kids had a blast!
When the kids were all pooped out from playing in the irrigation water-that is why Porter has his swimsuit on. After school all he wanted to do for his birthday was play in the water-
O.K.!
We headed over to Pizza Factory for Dinner.....
Porter and Brayd enjoying a salad that consisted of cheese, croutons, peas and ranch.
YUM!!
The family picture.
I think we have more family pictures at P.F. than we do at our own house!
Porter-and Brayd-with the "8"
Porter LOVES cheese. So, when I asked why Aaron dumped the whole container of parmesan cheese on his pizza, his response was "It's his Birthday!"
OK!
Porter then wanted some dessert at Golden Spoon. So, we took the LONG trek out to Sunset....

Madi and Ry shared.
I had my own, that had "no flavor" said Aaron.
Hey! I gotta get my monies:)
Porter and Brayd shared.
My Baby and I!
Happy Birthday Porter, we are so glad you are in our family.
You keep life interesting!

You are such good parents. I love that you make everyones birthday to awesome!! You're kids will always remember that about you! I think that it's so funny that all Porter wanted to do on his birthday was play in irrigation water (isn't that all Aaron wanted to do last year on his birthday?)
