Aaron and Hailee

As you can see, it is quite often that Hailee Mae and Bentley come to visit. Which, of course is just fine by me. I guess it's pay-back time:) This night Joanna and Jason went to a meeting so Hailee Mae got to play with us. They took Bentley with them. After Aaron got home from work he needed some dinner of course. Well, Hailee thought she was hungry too.
I wish you could see in this picture how Aaron opens his mouth when feeding babies.
So Cute!!
Hailee then got her 'own' yogurt which she was happy about and just enjoyed being by Aaron.
She fit right in....Aaron always needs an eating partner.

Wow! Being A Mom Is Hard!!

So, here it is an hour in a half after Madi and Porter got home from school and we just BARELY finished doing homework! Not because they have too much, but because I have dilly-dalliers:) Yes, mainly this little man....
This is my good innocent Porter at school....
Can you see the mischief in those eyes?
I hear my Porter is such a good boy in school, so how come when he comes home he decides that it is so much more fun to play while doing homework than to do homework then play?
I do love "me" but I think I'm ready to trade Aaron jobs!
Porter made this sweet hat for school because he was "King Of The Day". He is very creative, just a monkey:)

Get The Word OUT....

There's a new Sheriff in town.....
IT finally happened!! Meet one of the 3 new owners of Stephen Wade Powersports!
It's been a long time comin' and for our family, Aaron finally made it happen.
While Russ is taking care of everything in Vegas Aaron and Brandon are taking care of the happenings here.
I am so glad he was able to make things work so we could stay here in OUR city!
Aaron is SO excited!! He's happy to have Brandon doing it with him also. He can celebrate with someone and when there are problems he can confide in someone also.
The name has to stay the same until they are able to switch all the brands over to their names.
Yes, I will be in there with treats, lunch and just random visits!
SO EXCITING.....

Dixie Round-Up

EVERY YEAR my family goes to the Rodeo.....The only thing missing this year was the home popped popcorn, on the stove, in the brown paper sack with WAY too much butter!! I won't let my dad forget this ever again:)
For me, it's definitely for the social, not because I love the rodeo. I don't. It is still way fun and the kids love it, but get mad at us every year because we always leave early. Geese, by the time the rodeo finally starts my kids are usually in their pajamas and we are doing our nightly routine of getting to bed.
I guess we can make an exception ONCE a year:)
Cute boys keeping each other safe....I love when little boys hold hands.
Madi and Porter.....Not quite sure who the other kids are. I love the way Porter and Madi are standing. Porter is such a boy and Madi, my sweet little baby girl, is getting all big on me.
Very sad!
And US!! I love my baby!! He is so good to come to the things that are important to me.....Alot better than he used to be.
Do you like my earrings? I do! They were only $1.99 at Urban Wear-That my friends, is the DEVIL store!
Brenden was in front of us and is such a cute little guy! I LOVE THIS AGE!! That's why Hailee Mae is always over playing.
I think Brenden clapped longer than anyone else.
And his cute little face? How could I not post this picture?
Until the next Dixie Round-Up.....

Grandpa Smith

Aaron was very nice to let Joanna have a peaceful lunch! As we had our 'Cafe' Rio' for lunch today Bentley Boy wasn't being a very nice little boy to let his mom enjoy her food. So, Aaron was a good 'grandpa' and took Bentley to sit on the chair with him.......
Joanna and I were watching from the table and we are guessing Bentley kept trying to play with the computer so Aaron had Porter bring over the computer that Bentley could play with.
That's a good Grandpa Smith!

Teach 'Em Young....

I love to see my boys serve! I don't think there is a better feeling in the world than to know that I, along with Aaron am teaching my boys the most important principle they can learn. When I look across the street and see my boys pulling someone elses garbage cans in, instead of our own, I smile.
Brayd is behind the garbage can.
There he is.
I love my hard-working boys!

Now What?!?

Today quite possibly could have been the saddest day of my life thus far. I sent my BABY to school. I cried. I really did. What am I supposed to do with myself for 5 unvoluntary hours a week of NO KIDS? Yeah, it's true, I drop my babies off to Joanna's quite frequently to do shopping or get my nails done, but I have never HAD to drop them off to something that they are now supposed to go to. I missed Brayd so much. He's my side-kick. I had 4 bouts of tears come on in the 2 1/2 hours that he was gone. The saddest part is when I think about doing laundry with no background noise.
SO SAD!!
Ry all ready to hit the books!
Brayd was pretty nervous at this point, but he did GOOD letting go.
Too Good:(
My babies are all growed up!
Brayd was SO excited to do his homework when he got home.
It was an 'All About Me' page.

Skim-Boarding?

Wherever there is water, you will find Porter! This boy loves water and loves to play!! With Aaron's new 'farming' abilities Porter is able to play in the water ALOT!! Aaron got out his irrigation hoses and went to work....Porter also went to 'work'.
Check out Porter skim-boarding in our front yard.
Now he's trying to turn to see me.
That is DEEP water!
Maybe they should have their life-jackets on?
Madi and her Dog!
Have I mention how much she loves this little guy?
Ryan spent over an hour playing on this knee-board with Brayden. Mostly pulling Brayden around.
He is such a good big brother! Brayd would strap the board on and ride like a champ. He might be ready to be pulled behind the boat by next year!
I think this water is bringing alot of JOY to our family!!
