First Blue And Gold Banquet.

I'm old.
I now go to Blue and Gold Banquet's with my son!
Porter had his first pack meeting which was the Blue and Gold.
At his first pack meeting he received his Wolf!! I was happy that he is moving along and loving Cub Scouts so much. He looks forward to it every week and is as happy as can be to do the fun things they do!
Participating in the flag ceremony.
He looks lost and confused.
I'm sure it will get better.
Receiving his award.
My first award too!
I remember my brothers doing this for my mom.
Weird!
They played fun games too.
Aaron whipping Porter around in a sleeping bag.
Aaron telling all about it!
Aaron missed Porter's mouth and got lots of the marshmallow in Porter's hair.
I didn't expect that!
I guess when it's a race, Aaron's competitive side comes out a little more than the O.C.D. in him.
I am so proud of Porter for the time and effort he puts in to his scouts. He gets his book on his own to sign off on things he does. I love it!
Keep it up Porter!
I don't want to be one of the MOMS that earns the Eagle.
That is YOUR job!

Madi and Lexi

Whenever there is a day off of school the first thing that is asked of me is...Can we have a sleepover with our cousins? The craziest thing is that Brayd is involved in this sleepover time. He's my Baby!!
So we had a sleepover. Lexi and Cam slept at our house and Ryan and Porter slept at Heather's with Connor and Alan.
For Easter Madi got a cute little "make your own mini cake kit". She decided to bust thing out when Lexi slept over on Easter night......
Lexi.
Madi.
Cute Cousins.
Their fondant cakes turned out beautiful!
Don't ya think?:)
Madi even thought they tasted good.

Easter!!

I have a husband that HATES to wake up! Sometimes it is a sad sight to see. Our kids were SO excited for Easter, but sometimes it isn't worth it to wake the sleeping bear. So, our Easter started out with me taking the kids upstairs, as they were anxiously awaiting to see what the Bunny brought them, to play. We went to the playroom and had some breakfast of pop tarts.
It was fun to sit at the table that the kids would eat at everyday when we lived in Idaho.
The time FINALLY arrived to come downstairs.
Perfect picture in the background.
Ry putting the first egg in the carton.
The kids in action.
Brayd so happy to finally find an egg.
That is a hard task being the youngest.
The first basket found was by Brayd, only it wasn't his...it was Aaron and I's.
Yes, we are officially old, we share an Easter Basket.
Mostly because Aaron doesn't do one for me:(
Brayd found his basket in the entertainment center.
Brayd was excited for his bike horn.
Ossie Baby liked it too!
Ry's basket was in the steamer.
Each of the kids got a little note in an egg that said...
"Night out with Mom and Dad"
I think Brayd was the most excited about this!
Aaron and I.
Finding Porter's basket.
Porter's good stuff!
Madi was the last one to find her basket.
Everyone checking it out!
When all the baskets were found and we had our fill of candy we ate some breakfast and got ready for church!
I taught the lesson in my Young Women's class and it went rather smoothly. We talked about 12 very important events in Christ's life surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection. The lesson went well and I loved preparing it. I felt closer to my Savior this Easter through studying it.
When church was over we headed up to my mom's.
Hailee Mae had a seizure and we were able to get through that along with all the other hectic thing going on.
Finally things settled down and we had a hunt....
This is what Aaron did.
Surprised? I didn't think so.
Madi hunting.
Ry loves his eggs.
Brayd gathered quite a few himself.
Aaron and I.
Porter was obviously not it my view.
I am thankful for Jesus Christ and the example and love he shows to me.
HAPPY EASTER!!

Dying Eggs!

This year I asked Aaron if he would like us to wait for him to dye eggs.
He said No.
So we didn't.
While he was at work we busted out the dye and went to town. Jason joined us. It's probably a good thing Aaron wasn't around because we spilled two of the 6 bowls of dye.
Whoops!
The kids busy at work.
I had the kids hold up their favorite eggs....
Madi's favorite.
Porter and Jason's favorites.
Ry's favorite.
And Brayd's favorite.
Our fridge was so so stinky with all the hard boiled eggs in the fridge.
Aaron was happy when we made our deviled eggs and took them away:)
He's kinda a party pooper!

Ry And His Tooth!

My baby Ry lost his first tooth!
I was so surprised when he told me it was loose. He's seems too young. Not even in kindergarten yet!
The tooth fairy brought him 2 dollars!
This is the first of many.....

OuT WitH tHe OLD.......

Time for something new...
My old rig:)
Aaron got me this license plate cover 2 vehicles ago.
In with the new!
My new ride!
Should we see how long we can drive around with this "license plate" until I get threatened to have my car impounded?
I've been ready to downsize in vehicles for about a year now. Aaron finally found a sweet deal on the EXACT car I wanted.
I might be going through a small crisis right now.

Summer's Comin'

It's starting to get warm so Aaron now has an excellent excuse to start bustin' out his irrigation hoses and Porter bustin' out his skim boards. It's a great combination and the whole family loves it and has a good time!
Look at all those monkeys having the time of their lives!
Porter loves the hose!
Bentley and I stayed away from the water.
Then Bentley fell.
So Sad!
With a little rice on his eye:)
That's a lot of water!
Oh Porter!
Madi just standing by in her cute swimsuit.
London Bridges....
Running under the water.
Whoa Hailee Mae!
Bentley wanted to go to the water but got too scared.
That's a lot of water standing up there.
6 kids isn't bad huh?
Aaron and I could so do it!
Water is what we do around here:)
It's only the beginning.
