A Little Celebration For My Baby!

For family night I decided we should all go out and celebrate Aaron being 30. Aaron loves, loves, loves his pizza so we headed out to the Brick Oven.
I'm not going to lie! Delicious it was! Their salad bar was yummy, their cheesy bread was yummy AND their pizza was yummy! I so recommend it!

First Porter cuts...As Aaron observes
Then Porter enjoys....As Aaron continues to observe

I still haven't figured out why he says he hates pizza, then is an excellent eater once he gets the pizza in front of him.

Brayd enjoyed his pizza and is very photogenic.
Cute little Man!

Madison always has a smile on her face when food is around....
Just like her Mama!
Whoops, forgot to get a picture of Ry. He was there.
Do I have too many kids? Or just getting old?

Aaron wasn't so happy this night, or the 2 nights following, so I thought it would probably be a good idea to keep the camera out of his face.
Hopefully Aaron will get caught up on all his work soon.
We can't handle an ornery dad!

Almost There!

So, it has been kinda a crazy day trying to get home. I was so excited to be home by 9 o'clock tonight so I could see my babies before they went to bed. But.....Our flight got delayed in the Bahamas which made us miss our flight out of Georgia which made us miss our flight to St. George. So, now we will be home at 11. That's o.k. though, at least we will be home.

The funny thing about this picture is that the bell man that took it said it would just turn out great. You couldn't see it very good now, but it will be a good picture!

Anyone that knows Aaron knows that a full Aaron is a happy Aaron. So, he had been eyeing this piece of carrot cake all week. Well, I bought it for him around noon on Friday so he ate it for breakfast on Saturday. Thank goodness we had something to put in his little tummy or he would NOT have been happy about our little walk on the beach.
This morning before we left the Bahamas we took a nice little walk on the beach......We had to get some pictures of where Russ asked Nicole to marry him and would you believe she said YES?

We had to get a picture of where Russ proposed also right? We didn't want to be left out.
After we took care of that business we headed to the airport. We were very excited when we landed in Georgia so we could talk to the kids. We talked to them all and they tried to get us to tell them what their presents were that we bought. When we wouldn't tell them what they were the kids started asking what letter it starts with, then what letter it ends with. We wouldn't give them anymore clues because my little smarty pants would figure it out. They are too cute. When I was talking to Porter I told him I missed him and asked if he missed me too. His reply was, "Yeah mom, I missed you so much that I even cried one night because I missed you." I love my Porter and I am very excited to get home and see him.
The wait was long but we are happy to be sitting in Utah again.

This was the sunset as we were flying into Salt Lake. Our pilot was funny, he got on the PA system and said, "And there will be no charge for the sunset." I was a little confused, but then I caught on and thought he was funny!
When we arrived in Utah we needed a little treat so we headed to the little ice cream/cinnamon roll shop. Perfect! A little treat for Aaron and I...
Just as we were about to take a picture of ourselves with our treats we hear someone say "Aaron, let me take your picture." We looked back and it was Aaron's cute aunt that is a flight attendant. That was convenient!
Well, it's about time to board and get home!

Ready To Go Home!

Today was our last full day in the Bahamas. We had a lot of fun this trip and it was very fun to spend lots of time with Aaron.
When we first woke up this morning Russ decided he wanted to re-live our childhood and go to the grocery store and get some cereal and eat it in the parking lot. That is just what we did. We did get some muffins and chocolate milk also. We moved our car to the shade and ate our Raisin Bran with muffins, bananas and chocolate milk.

Russ and our sweet car where we had just eaten our breakfast.
Just like the good 'ol days when it took all the money we had to even go on a vacation. Of course there were not leftovers to eat out!
At this point we were on our way in to a pharmacy. Hoping they would give out their prescription drugs like they do in Mexico. We weren't so lucky though.
Russ even said to the lady, "So, you're not like Mexico over here?"
She just replied, "NO!"
We did a little shopping after our breakfast and the no success of finding some good stuff for Russ' sickness.

I know, disgusting picture of me. Sorry!
This was one out of the two nice ladies we met in the Bahamas. She was so cute and so appreciative of the 50 bucks we spent on souvenirs at her little shop. Here she is putting Madison's name on her little bag.We got some shirts for the people that helped out with our kids at her shop also. We then found Porter and Ryan hacky sacks and Brayd a little car.

We then headed back to the hotel to spend our last day hanging out by the pools. Apparently the sun was very strong today because we all got burnt. The boys and Nicole didn't get it too bad but I lifted my swimsuit up over my tummy to get a little tan on my tummy and it hurts! I so should not have done that!

I figured I should post a picture of what Aaron and I looked like MOST of the time while we were there. I am laughing because as we were taking the picture we realized that we could see ourselves through the camera in the mirror. We thought it was funny!
When we were done laying by the pools we got ready and went over to Port Lucaya to get some dinner.

As we were trying to decide what to eat Aaron and Russ found this boat they wanted to look at.....
I am very much a rule follower. Notice the "NO TRESPASSING" sign, and the two little naughty boys walking down the dock? That is why Nicole and I stayed back.

Check out that boat though! Can you really blame them for wanting to take a peak?
We ended up at a Greek restaurant which was pretty yummy for most. O.K. for me.

In front of our Greek diner. One thing I figured out on this trip is you never know what kind of face Russ is going to pull while taking a picture. You may even get lucky and he will actually be looking at the camera.
Not on this one!

We saw lizards all over the place. Russ tried to catch one once. It was pretty entertaining for a split second, once we figured out what he was trying to do.

After our dinner we walked for a bit then went on a drive around the island a little more.

Then to end the night we got a banana boat ice cream.

We had to remember Subway! We ate there a many a times.

While we were headed back we stopped for a sweet picture....

Aaron thought that was pretty funny and wanted to get a picture.
It was very dark so this was the best we could get.
Well, the trip has been fun and very entertaining. We are now ready to get back to real life and home to our babies!
Of course this night was THE night! Russ proposed to Nicole in the Ocean in the Bahamas! That may be the most romantic proposal I have ever heard of!
Good Luck Russ and Nicole!
Being Married is Great!

A Little Excursion!

We found a McDonald's yesterday as we were driving around so we decided to go there for breakfast this morning. I actually picked up some Raisin Bran so I was all prepared to have that. I got some in my cup ready to just buy some milk at McDonald's and enjoy my cereal. Would you believe they didn't have any milk? True story....where the heck are we? So, I headed over to the gas station across the street and all they had was Vitamin D. "Incredible" were my thoughts. Who doesn't have milk and only cream if they do? Anyway everyone ended up eating their breakfast, mine dry but still o.k.

After breakfast we headed out and got a little crazy-well, Aaron, Russ and Nicole did.

We had a credit towards an excursion so everyone decided to go on a little snorkeling adventure. We first hung out at the pool for a bit then walked over to where the boat left from.
We got on the boat and got a hamburger, strawberry daiquiri and a water. All for only 12 bucks! Seriously.
Wow, this is a nice picture of Aaron, he looks like a cartoon character!

They all then headed in the water.
Turns out they found some pretty cool fishies but I was too scared. After they got back on the boat and I was done laying in the sun Aaron wanted to go down the slide that was on the boat.

The dude at the bottom waved..
So, Aaron waved back!

Then he slid down with his hands in the air! He is so daring in his 30th year!

It then started to rain-like it has every day this trip-so we headed back to the island.
We then went back to the pools because by the time we got back to the island-which was about a 15 minute boat ride-the skies had cleared up. We swam for about an hour then headed up to the room to get ready to go to dinner. Yep, we headed to Pizza Hut. I don't recommend the Bahamian food. We were all geared up, ready to order a salad but....they were out. Along with Sierra Mist and Mountain Dew! This is the 2nd restaurant that has just been out of random stuff. They don't tell you though until you order it. Interesting.
We enjoyed our dinner then Aaron suggested we find a beach and watch the sunset. Romantic huh? So, we went to McDonald's to get a McFlurry.
Which by the way they only putting the topping on the top, but don't mix it around. Well, the clouds were in the way so we didn't get to watch it but it was a fun drive. We have now been all over the island. Back and Forth. I think we discovered the place where all the locals live. They are very nice out there and waved to us lots. Well, that about sums up our day! One more day and I will be home to see my babies.

I am excited!

Still Just Relaxing!

Today is the 4th day of our vacation here in the Bahamas. We are still having a good time and just relaxing. Nicole and I got pretty burned the last 2 days so we decided we had better take a break from the sun today.
The Yamaha show is over so we rented a car and got out of this little town that we have been in since Sunday. We almost ordered some Pasta for dinner last night until we saw that a plate of pasta was $30.00! We passed and all shared a pizza instead that was $25.00 for the meal. I did get a mozzarella, tomato salad. Well, that consists of 4 pieces of lettuce, 5 slices of tomato and 4 balls of cheese. Russ thought it was yummy and he ate it. I thought it was a little bit weird.

For breakfast this morning we had Subway for the 3rd time this trip. We decided to check out their breakfast sandwiches.
I thought it was pretty delicious!
We then headed out to explore a little bit. We got a map and took a LONG ride on the island.

Aaron and I like to just stay in the car and not get our feet sandy.

We ended up on the beach with the car STUCK!

It was nice. Russ and Nicole had to push us out.
I took a picture and told Aaron he should have listened to me.
We then needed a drink so we stopped at this bar. It was weird. They thought we were weird when we asked for a coke, water, cranberry juice and ginger ale.

After we had enough fun there we headed to the recommended restaurant. It was called Simply Native. The lady was stoned and there were drug dealers in the parking lot but the food was the best we've had so far!

Aaron with his conch.

Aaron and I with OUR conch. I didn't love it, some thought it was o.k.

Oh, here is one more picture of us all together. I'm surprised this one turned out with how high on life our waitress was. She was super cute though.
I'm thinkin' we will stick with Domino's or McDonald's the rest of the trip. On the way back to our hotel tonight Russ got offered some drugs. That was very nice huh? Maybe Russ just looks like that kinda guy:)
We then went to the gym and had a late night talking by the pool while we reminisced about the good 'ol days. We did have a lot of excitement today!
Those were our exciting events of the day. We may go on an excursion tomorrow but we'll see how that goes!

Of Course We Are Having a Blast!

We are having a great time here in the Bahamas. The ONLY thing I am sad about is I just found out my cute friend Heather West had her sweet little baby girl on Sunday or Monday I am assuming and I haven't got to hold her. I am for sure not a newborn baby lover but to hold a brand new baby for a MINUTE is priceless. They are so perfect! I would love to hear details, so anyone that knows them could you please share?

We are back at the hotel room from swimming and laying by the pools for most of the day. We did go on a watercraft ride which completely sucked! The splash was awful in the ocean and I don't love the things anyway. I felt very sad for Aaron because he was on the one with the most power but he went slow for me. He loves me! I did tell him he could go fast but he was worried about me. We did get some sweet pictures in these nice shorts we had to wear so we wouldn't get a water enema!
We did get our luggage back because Delta put a rush on it. I think they found it in Salt Lake and got it here very quickly. It actually made it before I needed to get ready for the day on Monday. So no one needs to worry, I got my make-up and jewelry! Thanks for the being concerned!
On our way to get some dinner we ended stop to take some pictures next to this sweet sign...
I love my baby!

We then headed off to get some yummy food. Aaron wanted pizza, so we got pizza. I almost ended up eating this for dinner..
Luckily Russ wanted the mozzarella cheese and lettuce that came with it. He did quite enjoy it! Then everyone shared their Hawaiian pizza that onions on it with me. Who puts onions on Pineapple and Ham? The Bahamians do.

So, this is the funniest cat ever! I had to take a picture of it. On Monday night as we were walking around I noticed it had the longest legs ever! Well, as soon as I said it the thing stuck it's front leg out and just posed for a minute. It was so funny. Then when I went to take this picture the thing just stood there. It was quite friendly also.

On our way back from our little adventurous evening we found this cute lady that sold dacquiri's in a coconut. So, we got one!

iThanks again to everyone who is taking care of my babies! They all seem to be doing well and that makes my vacation so much better!

My Baby's Bithday!

So, there aren't many people who get to spend the week before their birthday at Lake Powell with a bunch of dudes. Then spend the week of their birthday in the Bahamas. My Baby is one lucky dude to be able to do that. He says it's all business. I would have to disagree.
We woke up and went to lay by the pools and just be LAZY! There were a couple of things Aaron had to do, like go to a business meeting and stuff. While he did that Nicole and I laid by the pool and got some sun. That is pretty much what we did the whole day.

Nicole and I all dressed up for the evening.

My Baby and I on our way to the dinner put on by Yamaha.

It turned out the dinner wasn't so delicious. We ate off the kids buffet. The chicken and fries were pretty yummy!

Aaron with his birthday dinner.

Aaron and I with his chocolate birthday cake:)

When dinner was over we went for a walk around the little shopping center we were staying by. Then we went to check out the boats and watercraft. As we were heading back we saw some fireworks.

So we got some pictures with them.

Russ and Aaron having a moment....
Actually I knew they were coming because I set them up for Aaron's birthday. At least that is what I told Aaron. I bet he believed me.

We thought the night would probably be over after the fireworks but it wasn't. We then headed back in to town for some nice little dancing and entertainment.

We got some delicious drinks for free!

This was the only picture of all four of us in the Bahamas! Well, that turned out.

I have to post this picture for memories sake....

This couple was hilarious! They would keep gazing in to each others eyes smiling and would give these passionate kisses. Oh my!

Some people at a table next to us made it known that it was Aaron's birthday so he got to do this sweet dance! That boy can move:)

I hope my baby had a good birthday. He is such a good dad and husband!
He knows exactly how to treat me.
I love you Baby!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

We Made It!

This post isn't going to have any pictures because I'm using this sweet lap-top Aaron got for his birthday, and I don't know how to upload pictures onto it YET. I may just have to add them all when I get home.
Our traveling was a little bit of a mess with Aaron being sick. He did however, get on the internet and figure out how to clear out a sinus infection. When I asked him if he was sure about it he told me that there were like 100 people that left comments on the site about how it was the only thing that cleared the infection. So, he went on a hunt in the airport for his warm water, salt and a straw.

He needed to mix the water and salt then put it into his ears and nose with a straw, then gargle some for his throat. It seemed to work pretty good. We did have some layovers, but that was to be expected. Then we lost some of our baggage-which had my make-up in it. The lame thing about this is that we had it to carry-on but at the last minute when we were getting on the plane in Salt Lake they told us there wasn't room in the overhead storage so we had to check it. Aaron told me he didn't expect it to make it. The thing that sucks is it also had my jewelry in it. What will I do without jewelry? So, I had to make do with yesterday's leftovers, jewelry and make-up. Plus, just taking the red-eye flight is always a killer in and of itself.
However, we did make it. This is the view from our room, it's very nice! Aaron is now sleeping to gear up for the good times we are going to have. Russ and Nicole have not arrived yet. They took a flight out of Vegas because it was SO much cheaper. I do hope they make it soon. The Bahamas is a little boring at this point. After all, it is The Holy Sabbath and we are supposed to rest right?

After Nicole and Russ arrived we headed down to some dinner and a presentation that Yamaha put on. We then got some yummy dessert for sitting through it. I took a couple of little cat naps. Can you tell?

The weather was so crazy! We were having a heat stroke outside but were freezing inside. That is why I have my sweatshirt on.
Thank you so much to all those helping with my kids. Leave me a comment if there are any troubles with the Monkeys and I will be sure to straighten them out-when I get home that is.Which may be a little late, so hopefully they will just be the angels they are:)

The Last of My Surprises!

I'm kinda sad that my surprises are ending......But, I am SO VERY glad my man is coming home and we are headed to the BAHAMAS BABY!!
I really didn't think I would get to go buy myself something today since the real surprise is Aaron coming home, but sure enough, there was a piece of paper in my drawer this morning...

If I have time? I had to laugh at that, I ALWAYS have time to shop, especially on Aaron's buck!

So, I went to Wal-mart and found some way cute jewelery there. I didn't take a picture because I had packed it all before I realized I forgot that important step. Then I went to Dillard's and got me some "Pleasures Exotic". Perfect for the Bahamas don't ya think? Then off to Escape to get a watch band that matches the rest of the jewelery I bought yesterday, to go with my dress.

I really do love my man! What a sweetheart he is and a thinker at that! My sweet man's 30th birthday is on Monday. I'm thinking he has already had a great week leading into his birthday, then to be in the Bahamas the week after his birthday?
He's a pretty lucky guy.

For Aaron's birthday I bought him a lap-top. My cute brother-in-law Chase helped me get the best deal on what he believes is the best one out there. So, this is what he will come home to. I figured I would give him his present early since he has 58 e-mails and will be home for a total of 3 hours. Long enough to unpack and pack back up again. Hopefully he can clear his head a do a little relaxing on this long flight ahead of him.
I LOVE YOU BABY!
Thank you so much for entertaining me this week even though you weren't physically here!
I love it!
