Girls Camp

Yes, I did go to Girl's Camp!
I am the assistant camp director. I do not like to camp but I made it through!
We took this picture before we headed out for the next two days of dirtiness!
We all got some cute shirts that said "We Believe"
We made some good memories.
Me, Susan Bangerter, Valerie Brewer, Diana Lunt, Alex Dressler and Mary Meadows.
All the leaders that went to camp besides DeAnna Kraupp and Stephanie Hoag.
DeAnna is right here with the girls, singing her favorite girls camp song.
The girls put on an awesome skit about "guarding their virtue" Each girl participated and it was short, entertaining and sweet!
Just how Susan likes them.
I can say that I got to know the girls a lot better and it was good to hang out with them for 3 days straight!
They are amazing girls with amazing trials, but I know they will overcome them.
They are just "those kind of girls!"

Aaron And His Brothers!!!

Aaron went up to Chase's Bachelor Party with Taylor, Mitch and Chase. They had a little camping trip on Friday night then went to Wendover on Saturday night. We love Chase's fiance' and are so happy for Brianne to be part of our family!
Such a cute picture of the 'Smith' boys!
They had a good time and didn't get into too much trouble:)

24th Of July

We don't celebrate a ton for the 24th and because Aaron was out of town for Chase's bachelor party our celebrations were especially minimal. We did however, go to watch the fireworks with Jo and family, Moss, Bud, Brenden and Dad and Mom.
It was fun to hang out.
While waiting for the fireworks the kids chased down the ice cream truck.
Ry, Porter, Madi, random kid, Brayden and Hailee Mae.
Such cute kids!

Alan's Ordination

We made it back from Canada just in time to be to Alan being ordained a Deacon. I am so proud of him and the good example he is setting for all the little ones that will be coming to that stage in their life after him. He has a lot of responsibility resting on his shoulders.
He is doing such a good job so far! I often remind him of my 3 boys that watch what he does. Ryan especially loves him. He pals around with Alan all the time and Alan is so good to him.
All the kids Alan is being an example to....
Even Grandma and Grandpa:)
The guys that stood in the circle with Granda.
Pretty cute bunch if you ask me!
Thanks for keeping everything under control.....Sargeant:)
Keep up the good work, we love you Al!

Canada-Day 3

On our 3rd and final day in Canada we went to the Bombardier factory. I've never been to a manufacture's factory so it was pretty interesting to me! We had to get up so so early to make the trip about 1.5 hours away, but I guess it was worth it. We had great company too, so that is always a plus. I've decided the company you are with can either make or break the vacation!
Aaron and Chase checking it all out.
Check out that little snowmobile.
I thought my boys would enjoy this picture.
It IS a Yamaha:)
This is the first snowmobile thingy that was made and it was really made in this garage!
This dude was playing the part of Mr. Bombardier.
My baby and I on the LONG bus ride back to Montreal.
That's sad, Aaron isn't even touching me:(
Montreal, Quebec. It was fun to go out of the city so we could see how big it really is.
It's hard to tell when we were in town.
Pretty Big!
When we got back to town we got refreshed for the day then went back to the walking street to get some souvenirs for our babies. We got them all shirts. Porter, Ry and Brayd some hockey sticks, Madi a little purse with a watch and Joanna-for babysitting-the cutest ring EVER!!
We then headed to dinner. It was delicious, expensive and Free.
Does that make sense?
Then had some ice cream for dessert!
I was so ready to get home to my babies by this point.
It was a pretty fast trip but I was ready to be home.
The Canadians were very nice people and they mostly all know at least a little bit of English -even though Quebec's speak a lot of French also!
I think I will go back someday!
Then we came home to this that the kids had done all by
themselves for us.....
After I had cleaned it all up Ryan came up to me and we had a conversation that went a little something like this....
Ry: Mom, where did the decorations go?
Me: I saw them, they were so cute then I took them home.
Ry: Welcome Home MOM!!
-with a big hug and kiss-
I love my very affectionate Ry.
He makes me smile inside and out!:)

Canada-Day 2

Day 2 in Canada the boys had to be up early to go to meetings. Karen went swimming and I tried to sleep until Aaron kept texting me. So, I got up and took my time getting ready. After I hooked up with everyone we wandered around to see where lunch was being served. We walked all around and finally found out where it was.
We decided to have a sit down and talk politics for awhile.
Boring, I know!
After our lunch we hung out and looked at product.
Karen and I found a boat and had a good little discussion.
We then went looking for Aaron.
We found him doing this.
They would ask him questions and record his answers.
He looks so confident.
We then got on the bus and went out to the demo site.
First we tried the Commander.
Then went on a nice little ride on the Spyder.
They were fun but Aaron wasn't too impressed.
I guess we won't be getting one.
Chase and Karen.
Chase and Aaron are so cute and act like little boys at times.
This time lighting bark from a tree by a lighter Chase found on the ground.
Silly boys.
We then took the bus back and ended the night by eating a very expensive meal that we didn't have to pay for and was served by a gay guy at an Italian Restaurant.
Interesting but fun!

Canada-Day 1

Aaron had a BRP show he was going to in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. So, he asked if I would like to come along.....Of course I would! Canada is somewhere I wanted to go. Last time Aaron went I was 8 months pregnant with Ry and Very Large! He brought me back XL sweatpants from Whistler:) They fit me for about a month-thankfully!
Our first breakfast.....Pastries of course.
We went to this incredible Basilica. I can't remember any of the history details.
Only that Celine Dion was married there!
Karen joined us also. It was fun to have her there.
She loves to see all the historical stuff.
This here thingy can go on water or land!
Pretty sweet.
This was an awesome walking street.
So fun!
And dangerous:)
Another street.
I loved this little shop! It had the cutest things in it.
I bought a little camera case/wallet.
We then went down to where the cruise ships come in.
It's a peninsula.
We saw this sweet dog on the way there.
He had sunglasses and was doing tricks.
So cute!
We then rented this awesome thing that we had to peddle.
It was a lot of fun!
We rode over to this huge clock tower.
My cute baby!
Can you see how far up we are?
So scary!!
This flag looks tiny!
I was very scared of heights in this picture.
Aaron was so interested in how the clock worked.
Then I got him to look.
We were all the way to the top!
I was very scared.
See this sweet machine we were riding...
It was awesome!
We then went back to the basilica so we could go to the chapel.
This is inside the chapel.
It was pretty amazing.
Can you see that little speck of white up there?
That is the guy that played at Celine Dion's wedding.
He didn't hold a candle to the organist in our church:)
We then went to get some food that was put on by BRP.
This was a delicious spinach, strawberry, walnut and cheese salad.
MMMMM!!!!!
We then hooked up with Mitch and Chase...Brianne didn't get her passport from the MTC in time so she wasn't able to make it...SO SAD!!
The show was this entertaining....
Cute tongue baby!
Mitch loved the band..Styx? Chase-except for he missed Brianne-and Aaron were just happy to be there:)
Aaron didn't really gain this much weight....he was just really close to the camera.
That wrapped up our first and only free day.....
It was great fun!

Brayden and Ossie.....

Aaron is on an awesome softball team and they play once a week. Brayd was in charge of holding Os Man on the way to the game....
I guess they had both had a day!
He's still little!

Last Day of Reunion

We wrapped up the reunion by going to church in Pine Valley. While we were there we were surprised to see Elder Holland. That was fun and exciting to see an apostle. After church we hung out some more while Porter and Grandpa cooked us some dinner. Grandpa is good at helping Porter with his scout requirements.
Porter cooking it up!
We only lost one chicken leg.
We are very thankful for a patient, loving grandpa:)
The reunion was fun! We see each other all the time, but there is just something about having everyone wake up and go to bed so close.
Thanks so much Mom and Dad for planning it all!
Until next year.....

2nd Day at Key Family Reunion

This day everyone was at the reunion but Aaron. He had to work.....We chilled a lot of the day, the kids rode motorcycles ALOT and the girls played some cards.
We did bust out some water balloons and let the kids have at it! It took us over an hour to fill them up and about 10 minutes for the kids to destroy them. However, it was 10 minutes of pure joy to watch.
Brayd with his tattoos from the day before.
They were in the prizes for the scavenger hunt.
Pretty white trash, I know, but he loved them.
All the kids just having a blast.
Brayden trying to pop a "baby" balloon.
Alan had just popped a balloon on Ry's head
-some of it is still there-
Ry running so so fast away!
He is SO Aaron!
All the kids disappointed with no more balloons to pop!
Brayd after Brenden.
Brayd embarrassed for getting told not to attack Brenden.
Porter Connor and Alan waiting patiently to go on a ride.
Cam and Brayd playing with the dogs.
Still playing! They were so cute and played for a long time!
Ry playing croquet with grandpa.
Going down the slide together.
Brayd and Cam STILL playing!!
Aaron joined us on this night and we did some more riding and running!
Good Times!
