Playing in the Snow and Bryce Canyon!

After spending Thanksgiving day inside we were ready to get out and get some fresh air. We started out by playing in the snow on the mountain that was by the cabin we stayed at.
In the beginning the kids would ride down the hill on the sled then walk it back up.
They were excited when Aaron came with the Rhino to pull them back up the hill.
Brayd loved to run up and down the hill. He was too scared to go on the sled.
Porter goes too fast.
This is me:)
My BEAUTIFUL Madi!
Here they come. Run so fast Brayd!
The kids loved to ride in the Rhino also.
Brayd trying to run so so fast!
Aaron taking the little ones for a ride.
Porter Madi and Ryan Going down the hill so so fast!
Porter was always in the back to be the brakes.
Check out how far they would go!
Aaron haulin' the kids back up the hill.
Cam gave rides on the little 4-wheeler.
Porter, Ry and Madi.
Nothing makes me happier than to see my kids having fun together!
Oh my Brayd!
How cozy are they!
And not yelling at each other.
Madi and Josh.
We had lots of fun hanging out in the snow.
We then were off to do some hiking.
We do not hike. Neither Aaron nor I love to hike. However, we had a good time and it was good to get our kids out and experience this kind of stuff:)
It was a little chilly before the hike, but we were ready!
First we had to take a family picture to prove that we really went to Bryce Canyon.
And we we're out......
The kids had a great time going down. Not hard at all. All fun!
Just a hikin' along.
See how much farther ahead the kids were.
They loved it.
Stop for a picture...
Or two...
My Madi.
Everyone with the beautiful view!
Brayd liked this rock.
So did Ry!
The kids wanted me to take a picture of this cool tree coming out of the ground.
Then Porter wanted a picture of himself.
And another...
and another!
This is a giant's toilet.
Kids think of the funniest things.
Oh, one more picture of Porter:)
Madi took about 10 pictures of this bird.
I kept 1!
Brayd needed a little help with this here walking stick.
This was definitely a hike!! They kids were pooped and so were the adults.
It was fun though and a memory we won't soon forget.
Thanks for the awesome weekend Cam and Cindy, it was great!!

We did something a little different for Thanksgiving this year! Cam and Cindy Eggertz invited us to go to a cabin by Duck Creek to spend the holiday. So, Aaron and I took the plunge and that is where we took our little family for the Holiday. We were supposed to leave on Wednesday evening, but due to my sweet little sister Christie needing to deliver her baby early because at the ultrasound that day the baby no longer had a heartbeat, we left Thursday morning.
When we arrived we got to work preparing a delicious feast!
All the kids waiting patiently at the table. And Cam waving-not really, but it looks like it:) Our dinner was delicious! Cindy made some killer/lots of rolls and Cam's random stuff that he threw in the pot and called gravy was very yummy:). I only spilled a whole cup of pop at dinner and Aaron was only mad at me for a minute. Whoops!
After some enjoyable naps, a fun Rhino ride for the kids, and pie Cindy was so cute to have some activities. One of the activities was she gathered some 'stuff' and had the kids make up little skits. It was entertaining...
It looks like Brayd is shooting Dax here.
I didn't really know the plot.
Continued shooting.
Brayd, Dax and Amelie.
Cute kids!
The it was Madi's turn.
I think Ry got in trouble for bugging Ella while she read her book.
Madi was the mom.
And Brayd is such a good apple eater!
Thanksgiving was good but the company was better!
Thanks Eggertz, we always love hanging with you!

Ry's Birthday Party

I don't love putting on friend birthday parties. Especially when I am sick! But, when my kids ask and are so sad when I try to lead them away from the idea I have to give in and do it. This year Ry invited 4 friends. 1 boy and 3 girls. He's a ladies man! Oh, and some cousins too.
I took the party to McDonald's-along with my sisters, thanks so much for the help! Then came home to do a pinata and presents. I think he had a lot of fun!
Parker, Ryan, Serae, Braylen, Makenna, Brayden, Brenden and Hailee Mae......Bentley was sleeping.
When the fun was dying down and we had our ice cream we headed home to do the pinata.
Ry took the first swing.
Then Hailee Mae.
Then Serae.
Then Makenna.
She had a hard hit!
Then Braylen.
Then Brayd.
Then Brenden.
And Parker finally got a chance!
Good thing the kids are so little and we had to go through the line about 10 times.
I think the kids all got their fill of taking a swing.
Ry with his ladies.
Hurry Fast!
Get the Candy!
Checking out the goods.
All the party attenders.
We then got to open presents.
Ry and Parker with Legos.
Ry and Makenna with a fun game.
Serae and Braylen gave him some Hex Bugs when we dropped them off.
I think Ry had a good time. He got to play for almost 4 hours!
Life is good for him.
