Ready To Go Home!

Today was our last full day in the Bahamas. We had a lot of fun this trip and it was very fun to spend lots of time with Aaron.
When we first woke up this morning Russ decided he wanted to re-live our childhood and go to the grocery store and get some cereal and eat it in the parking lot. That is just what we did. We did get some muffins and chocolate milk also. We moved our car to the shade and ate our Raisin Bran with muffins, bananas and chocolate milk.

Russ and our sweet car where we had just eaten our breakfast.
Just like the good 'ol days when it took all the money we had to even go on a vacation. Of course there were not leftovers to eat out!
At this point we were on our way in to a pharmacy. Hoping they would give out their prescription drugs like they do in Mexico. We weren't so lucky though.
Russ even said to the lady, "So, you're not like Mexico over here?"
She just replied, "NO!"
We did a little shopping after our breakfast and the no success of finding some good stuff for Russ' sickness.

I know, disgusting picture of me. Sorry!
This was one out of the two nice ladies we met in the Bahamas. She was so cute and so appreciative of the 50 bucks we spent on souvenirs at her little shop. Here she is putting Madison's name on her little bag.We got some shirts for the people that helped out with our kids at her shop also. We then found Porter and Ryan hacky sacks and Brayd a little car.

We then headed back to the hotel to spend our last day hanging out by the pools. Apparently the sun was very strong today because we all got burnt. The boys and Nicole didn't get it too bad but I lifted my swimsuit up over my tummy to get a little tan on my tummy and it hurts! I so should not have done that!

I figured I should post a picture of what Aaron and I looked like MOST of the time while we were there. I am laughing because as we were taking the picture we realized that we could see ourselves through the camera in the mirror. We thought it was funny!
When we were done laying by the pools we got ready and went over to Port Lucaya to get some dinner.

As we were trying to decide what to eat Aaron and Russ found this boat they wanted to look at.....
I am very much a rule follower. Notice the "NO TRESPASSING" sign, and the two little naughty boys walking down the dock? That is why Nicole and I stayed back.

Check out that boat though! Can you really blame them for wanting to take a peak?
We ended up at a Greek restaurant which was pretty yummy for most. O.K. for me.

In front of our Greek diner. One thing I figured out on this trip is you never know what kind of face Russ is going to pull while taking a picture. You may even get lucky and he will actually be looking at the camera.
Not on this one!

We saw lizards all over the place. Russ tried to catch one once. It was pretty entertaining for a split second, once we figured out what he was trying to do.

After our dinner we walked for a bit then went on a drive around the island a little more.

Then to end the night we got a banana boat ice cream.

We had to remember Subway! We ate there a many a times.

While we were headed back we stopped for a sweet picture....

Aaron thought that was pretty funny and wanted to get a picture.
It was very dark so this was the best we could get.
Well, the trip has been fun and very entertaining. We are now ready to get back to real life and home to our babies!
Of course this night was THE night! Russ proposed to Nicole in the Ocean in the Bahamas! That may be the most romantic proposal I have ever heard of!
Good Luck Russ and Nicole!
Being Married is Great!

I'm so glad that you guys had such a fun time. I'm excited that you are coming home though. We missed you. Good luck with your burnt tummy!

What hotel did you guys stay in? We stayed near Port Lucaya as well! :)
The food was HORRIBLE the entire time we were there and we felt it was WAY overpriced for how yucky it was. Finally the last night we ate at a yummy mediterranean cafe at the very back of Port Lucaya...anyway, can't wait to see your pics!
