Porter's Baptism

Porter made the big decision to get baptized on April 9, 2011! We are so proud of him and his compassionate heart. I don't love that my kids are getting big, but I do love that they are making the right decisions along the way.
Porter chose to have Aaron baptize and confirm him.
This is the room where he received The Gift Of The Holy Ghost.
Our Family Picture.
By the palm tree of course!
Always where Aaron want the pictures taken.
Just my babies.
After the baptism we came back to our house to have pizza, breadsticks, salad and ice cream sundaes.
People that attended Porters baptism were.....
Great Grandpa and Grandma Payne, Grandpa and Grandma Smith, Adam, Kara, Alex, Parker and Avery Lattin, Chase Smith and Brianne Cameron, Tim and Brianne Eyre, Taylor Smith and Ashley Smith, Grandpa and Grandma Key, Paul, Heather, Alan, Connor, Lexi, Cam, Makayla and Carter McInnes-I'm sure Cora was there in spirit. Russ and Nicole Key, Timmy and Trini Key, Jason, Joanna, Hailee Mae and Bentley Boy Williams, Moss and Christie Lillywhite, Brent, Heather, Carter, Parker and Claire West. Brother Hughes-Porter's primary teacher. Brother Wright-2nd Counselor in the Bishopric. Then of course Porter's little family-Dad, Mom, Madi, Ryan and Brayden.
It was a very special day.
We love you Porter and you are loved by so many others!
Just a note......
While Aaron and Porter were changing their clothes, just at the EXACT wrong moment, the fire alarm was pulled. It was a funny little experience.
When Porter sat in the chair to be confirmed little Hailee Mae jumped right on Porter's lap. She loves her cousin Porter:)

It really was so special! I'm glad that everyone was there to make him feel special. I also loved that they recognized him in our ward! I thought that was way cute!

Yes, Hailee Mae does love her cousin Porter- I hope they continue to be close. Porter (and all your other boys) will be great protectors of her, and I think help her to stay on the right path. Congratulations Porter- good choice to get baptized!
